not Franky. Franky already had his shot for the title. He is riding a 5 fight win streak whereas Holloway rides a 9 fight win streak and was also way more active.

also, we already SAW Aldo vs Franky. Aldo vs Max would have been fucking epic whereas aldo vs edgar can be lackluster. again.

Or we should've seen max vs Franky and give Aldo his well deserved immediate rematch for the title.

But whatever.. Will enjoy the fight this Saturday anyways.

This idea of "he's already had his title shot" is a fucking stupid one.

He had a shot years ago and since then he's earned another. Franky has won numerous number 1 contender matches now and has the best wins in the division at the moment (a round 1 KO win of Mendes is big).

There is literally nothing to bitch about on this one. Frankie's shot is more than deserved.

People forget frankie was promised his shot if he dazzled in his performance vs chad, he clearly dazzled. His wins over chad and cub are better than anything max has. And if the ufc hadnt forced him to fight bj a 3rd time and film tuf, he couldve taken out max easily in that time. Not his fault max isnt a big name. Theyd rather him fight bj or urijah and maybe pull a decent rating. I like max but his nuthuggers are delusional. Were people pushing this hard for jon fitch when he was on a 10 fight win streak against guys youve barely seen since?

Aldo's title loss wasn't even controversial. He got face planted in 13 seconds. Don't see why he deserves a shot more than Edgar.

I agree 100% honestly.

Instead of holding up the division and wanting a pointless rematch against Diaz, Conor should have accepted fighting Frankie at 200. Holloway/Aldo would have been the perfect number 1 contender fight.

Frankie is more deserving because of his career and win quality. I wouldn't have been mad if It were Max instead of Frankie but I do think they made the right matchup.

That and there basically is no FW champion right now. They call this the "interim" belt but its going to be the real belt after Connor loses again in August and is too big off FW.

Max either waits it out or takes a not so huge fight to stay active.
