It should have been Junior Dos Santos vs Francis Ngannou and Andrei Arlovski vs Stefan Struve.

Ngannou and Dos Santos both need a top contender fight and Struve and Arlovski can't give that to them. It would have also been a lot more exciting of a fight than seeing Struve and Arlovski both get flattened for the millionth time.

I think both of those matchups make more sense along with being more intriguing, Ngannou and Jds take em easy but it is HW....

The division is too thin. Can't have top contenders knocking each other out of contention.

HW is back to being one of the thinnest and least interesting divisions, tied with FLW. Thanks, Mighty Mouse.

JDS would steam roll Ngannou. He is still new to the sport and hasn't fought anyone near that level. Arlovski is a huge test for him, and being written off way to easily. Add that this fight is in Denver, and the longer it goes, the more it probably favors Arlovski, who is carrying less muscle and is used to altitude.
