That press conference was extremely annoying. He was entertaining for the first few minutes, and then grating and kept repeating himself and yelling loudly. My old man and I both kept wondering why he got so much microphone time, and why everyone cared so much about him. It's the hype, everyone's bought into that silly hype. It's ridiculous.

He's fucking embarrassing. He's gone way over the top now where in the past he was more likable when he wasn't trying so hard. Now he realizes more than ever that this type of shit is what lines his pockets and he's taken full advantage of it. Can't say that I blame him but I call it like I see it.
With that said. I would be lying if I said he didn't make things more interesting even though I feel guilty for admitting it. I want to watch him because I want to see someone shut his mouth. It's a love hate relationship I have with this guy.

I can't wait to hear the predictions on that fight from the fighters. The ones that spoke today didn't seem as confident as you are that Connie would win. I'm not so sure there will be any destroying of Aldo in this fight. If anyone would get "destroyed", it would be Connie, but I don't see that happening either. Either way, I think we'll end up seeing more than one Aldo/Connie fight in our lifetimes.

Its not the hype. Nobody would give a shit about McGregor if he wasnt demolishing his opponents. Nobody can even last 2 rounds with him (Minus the Max fight) and after 1 they look done anyways. Mike Tyson sucked with the media. Half the time they were bleeping him out or didnt want him on at all. It didnt matter, he destroyed his opponents thus he was extremely popular.
