I don't think it's that he's not down with it. I think he is finding it amusing that he's never been offered a rematch for anybody he's lost to, but now all of a sudden he beats McGregor and is being asked to rematch him.

Either way, he'd be a fool not to rematch him.

1. It's a great Payday
2. It's great exposure to Diaz to be headlining the biggest card he'll ever witness
3. He's already beat McGregor, why not do it again?
4. If he loses, the rubber match will be huge
5. Another win over Conor will make Diaz the king of the UFC. He can pick his next fight easily.
 
i think he wants a rda rematch but ufc is still favoring conor for that and thats why they are hoping he wins this so they can hype that much again.

For people who bitch about money, and tow that "get paid" line as hard as they do, the Diaz bros seem to just instinctively balk at opportunities to make real cash. It's hilarious to watch.

If I were him I would demand 15-million dollar up front with no PPV points or bonus. just give me 15mio or I won't headline ufc 200

Nate not instantly diving all over the rematch is a negotiating tactic.
 
Money aside, it must be a bit disappointing that the biggest fight for Diaz, is a rematch with someone he choked out on short notice.
