If computers are our bodies being reverse engineered then there is an inference that we are evolving toward being computers?

Creator loves us creator loves itself. Creator loves this thread

So it appears that one of the Sherdog 'bots' has come to life?

Username to post ratio is strong in this one.

Soul/Mind = this is where it gets tricky. The computer was invented to be used by man. Since every computer needs a user it is the user that becomes the completion of the computer and is the soul or mind of the machine. That is why your work computer will always have a very different feel than your home/personal computer. Your work computer is for work so it will be bland and not expressive. Your personal computer will be vivid with movies and pictures and such, because that reflects your desire or your soul/mind toward that machine. Your will is your soul and your memory/recollection is your mind. You utilize and impart both upon your machine when you use it. Therefore the data or programs you create or install on your computers reflect your will and memory/recollection.

What is this, like some kind of of techno-theology? A lot of words but very little meaning.

Interesting tangent, my game dev pursuits have me constantly running into questions like this, though never really answering them.

I am in the process of trying to make a human character that can control and animate itself through AI and physics.

Question number one: Can I have your weed dealers number?

We're all just brains in a vat

Except me Ofc

I have a real body and am just here to chill

The Holy Bible talks about a time when men will want to die but can not, is this a reference to man gaining the ability to merge with machine and live forever ....but once they took that step they understood the mistake they made and could not go back?

I feel we are close within decades, but when do you think man will fully integrate with machine?

I'm gonna sit this one out. I take a lurk every here and again.

Then can it be hypothesized that we were created and programmed by a higher power? dun Dun DUUUUUUNNNN!

That is true. Our bodies were created from the dust of the earth. Silicon. Same thing computer microchips are made from. The simple fact is our bodies and computer hardware are constructed from the same exact element, silicon. Silicon valley gave birth to computers rise. Silicon sand is the element our human bodies were created from. We rose from silicon.

So what about silicon tits then, when did they come into the picture?

Ive been sayings this for years... if you observe certain technologies its like a very primitive way our own bodies work. I first noticed it with my camera, the way the focus work, the iris, its almost identical of how our own vision work with available light and intention of focus, we just do it so unconciously that we dont even notice the method; then you can add up the way computers are learning our own writing, words, expressions simply repetition; see a graphic of the whole wide web and see a graphic of our own brain... stuff like that, its like we are creating our own selves.

Think about it, project your imagination, in 1000 years computers would not look like computers today, they would look... like US. I dont think I would have to get into discussion that you think intelligence in the universe started with us.... geezzz I mean dont tell me you think we are just the most developed thing in the universe, and we are all that ever existed and will exist, I wouldnt even know what to tell you if you think just that.

I see the brain as being the CPU, the nervous system as being circuitry, the metabolism being the power source, the eyes and nerve stems being sensors, and the software is what we learn that gets stored in memory.

The soul is something that is outside of the machine analogy.
