Dude came back from four years of inactivity to beat the lineal champ, to me THATS more impressive than any of these phony champ champs (except for DC he starched Stipe something fierce) sure we never got to see him vs Woodley but honestly that finish over bisping solidified his spot Among the sports Mount Rushmore.


Sometimes people need to stop trying to over analyze every fight and just accept it for what it is. An amazing win.

Bisping beat the champ in Rockhold and a consensus top 5 MW by anyone's estimation. That makes him top 5 by default.

He did. Bisping Is what I would call a compiler. Someone who is deserving of being in the Hall of Fame but he’s there because he compiled the numbers. He was never the greatest of his time. He was never really even that dominant. But he competed for a very long time and put up the numbers. That’s why he’s a Hall of Fame fighter.

You've been around here long enough to realize that is not true. There were plenty of discussions on here leading up the fight where members felt Bisping's size, durabily and activity given GSP's 4 year lay off would be a real problem for GSP.

Hell I thought Bisping was going to win. Then again I thought Bisping was going to get smashed against Rockhold in their second fight and I thought Hendo got fucked out of a win in the second Bisping fight.
