Two Tampa police officers were injured early Saturday after a crowd of hundreds surrounded a group of officers in an "ambush," the Tampa police chief said.

Officers were responding to a report of shots fired and a possible gunshot victim at an intersection near the Ybor City neighborhood around 1 a.m., Chief Brian Duggan told reporters Monday. A crowd of hundreds was at the scene when police arrived.

This is getting out of control and I’m surprised a Saturday incident is just now seeing light.

I came from a high poverty community. The police did some f##$ up things to alot of people in our community, from beatings, verbal abuse, planting drugs, and even killings.

I know that their are good cops but I still wonder how these bad cops got their position and weren't weeded out by good cops. ( Maybe some were)

The solution to end police problems is to replace most of the police and start putting robocop in every department. Robocops who are programmed to serve the public trust, protect the innocent and uphold the law.

Actually, he's right. Tens of thousdands of Leftists do want mayhem, destruction, and the murder of police officers. That's how extreme many of them have become. If some guy massacred 30-40 police officers with an AR-15, millions of BLM supporters would be celebrating. To them, it would be an important step toward the removal of what they see as enforcers of laws, and a system designed to keep them enslaved.
