Have to agree. The chances of this going ahead without being given the nod by the US seems reaching. This mission is a high stakes game and risky. No way they do it alone without backing.

These US recon planes weren't flying there by accident. Pretty good chance they were involved in the operation. Wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of US tankers turn up as well when they go through all the flight data.

The US knew this was coming and had tried to negotiate with Iran, who told the US basically to fuck off. They are far and away the world's top sponsor of terror, I can't say I am sad they are not going to reach nuke capabilities. I just hope the consequences don't turn out badly for civilians when they retaliate.

Acting like this is the only way Iran could get nukes is stupid. Russia or even North Korea could supply them and the nonstop out of control provocation only makes that possibility a lot more likely.

Their military doesn't have to be destroyed, per se. But Iran needs new leadership. Waging proxy wars and funding groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis etc has lead to inevitable conflict. That's not to say Israel and the US haven't had their own part in it though.

Yep, Iran is responsible for 3 major terror attacks in the 80s and 90s resulting in many American deaths. They also carried out numerous attacks in the Iraq conflicts that killed American soldiers.

I think what the US will do is only be involved with defenses to stop Iranian missiles that are aimed at civilian targets in Israel. That's probably all the US SHOULD do. I am going to look through the news to see if that is true. Highly doubt the US will get involved militarily.

I believe Israel is targeting nuclear facilities, nuclear scientists, and military targets including sites where missiles may be launched at them.

Israel is NOT going to fall here, but they could lose tragic numbers if civilians to Iranian missiles.
