He is being sentenced for illegal payments from an American businessman.
Seems to get 8 months and a 25K fine.
This is not the first time he is sentenced for corruption. Last year he was sentenced to 6 years in prison for accepting bribes.

Not only is he corrupt but as he was messing about, it affected the peace negotiations at the time between the Zionists and Palestine.
