I think his only job is commentating. I do think his days in the UFC are coming to a end. Maybe he leaves after UFC 200 ?

I've lost count how many times he's said "X is the GREATEST p4p of all time"

x = whoever is due to headline a main event.

Or how Rousey is a mystical/historical figure etc... Seems he's the guy fuelling the various hype trains within the UFC.

He'll still hype it around fight time. Don't worry about Rogan's job. Worry about getting one for yourself.

Schaub's rubbing off on him. One thing I like about schaub he does not buy into the BS fight hypes. Rogan can sometimes be "this 5 year old kid is fighting brock but what most people don't realize is it's a very interesting puzzle for brock, he's never faced someone this short before"

Why do MMA websites keep taking Rogan's statements from his podcast like they are supposed to be UFC official statements?

Lazy unprofessional journalism. There isn't any MMA journalism besides like 2 analysts anyway.

Rogan can say whatever the fuck he wants in his studio. He's being a fan and being real. You fucking sheep want everyone to be politically correct and follow the herd.

A bunch of Do nothing bitches.

If Rogan only real job is commentating for the UFC, he wouldn't be saying these sort of things. He doesn't feel the need to toe the line and repeat UFC event advertisements as much as Goldy.

Goldberg otoh needs the UFC alot more to put it mildly. Remember how he got booted from his Fox NFL commentating job.

Because he's a fight fan, like all of us, and if you're a fight fan, then you wouldn't agree with this GIMME FIGHT EITHER. Why give Ronda another 30 second win when they should've gave her Meisha Tate that would actually take her out of the 1st round?

He has defended UFC on multiple occasions.

The thing that makes him solid is he calls things that other UFC employees won't.

You won't hear Anik and co. saying "that was a terrible stoppage" or "I don't agree with that".

Sometimes he's wrong but the more important thing is when he's right. He's the rebel of the company.

Dana Hespects that. To a certain degree, I think the majority of us do, as well.

Rogan also shit on Holm during her debut, saying probably 10 times how she doesnt have a power in her punches. Way to hype up a debuting fighter and Rondas possible future opponent, I thought it was really weird from Rogan. That fight was also the co-main before Ronda vs Zingano so a lot of casuals were watching that.

Probably the closer he gets to retiring from the UFC, his real opinions will come out more often.

He is hyping it. His purpose is to create the illusion of balance between the evil of the UFC and his goodness.

He is here so that we can relate with him in "not liking the fight" and then still watch it.

He is our support group for the UFC decisions we disagree with. He is helping us cope so we can still watch.

    IN OTHER WORDS :

Joe Rogan is a waste of money. They can get someone else to do a way better job for less money.

rogan usually just echoes whatever he feels the general majority of people believe

if he comes up with an actual idea of its own its usually something fuckin retarded like "clothes are an abomination to human nature" or some other dumb stoner shit

Hyping fights is Dana's job. Rogan's job mainly consists of staying as high as possible at all times.

He'll shout at the top of his voice just at the start of PPV alongside Dana and Noise.
