Isn't it crazy that Khabib is not moving up to WW given he wasn't getting blood to his liver?

Personally I think it's bizarre that he and his team haven't already just decided to move up to welterweight based on how hard it is for him to make weight. He has said he starts camp at around 86 kilos (190 pounds) and it came out he was pulled out of the last fight because he wasn't getting blood to his liver and he had the same problem in the Johnson fight but still fought. He hinted on Helwani's podcast after the failed weight cut that he had permanent internal health issues that caused the weight cut problems (and sounded like long term effects of unhealthy weight cutting). I just think it's insane many people just assume he'll fight at lightweight again when that weight cut is so bad for him, don't you agree? If he's correct in saying Dana wouldn't give him the fight is it possible this was a contributing reason? (not his unprofessionalism being the problem but his long term health) I know this post might sound obvious but plenty are casually saying he'll fight at lightweight at some point, my point is that shouldn't even be up for discussion. Discipline aside he's got problems, move up Khabib.

And this is the condition he seems to have suffered:

He should utilize the performance institute I bet they could help him plus isn't it free

Fat Kelvin should be allowed to go back to 170lbs if Khabib isn't being forced to move up imo...

He has the discipline to fast sun up to som down but he can't resist a piece of tiramisu? Maybe someone should tell him god says no tiramisu.

I think the goal is to stay in shape knowing his next fight will be for a title or interim title. At that point if he wins (or loses), he moves up to 170lbs making bigger paychecks and with leverage to try and get an instant title shot there.

Can't say I blame him. He has a much better chance of beating Conor or Ferguson/Lee than he does Woodley.

God willed the tiramisu into his mouth and god willed the bad weight cut so god willing what happens is the god willing.

maybe he sneaks in tiramisu on ramadan

After the last weight cutting episode it will be interesting to see if he can make 155 again. There is the possibility that he may try to lose a little weight permanently in order to make the cut easier. If he doesn't it is possible that he struggles from here on out. After years of cutting there can come a time where the body just won't do it anymore. He's definitely risking his health at this point.

He would get destroyed at WW. i would bet on Platinum to beat khahbib. He can't man handle those guys and his stand up is shit

It is. I didn't know about that. He should think about his future well-being and make the move.

I think he's definitely strong enough to still take a bunch of those guys down, I think Woodley would be a horrible match up for him though, probably not one he would win and maybe the reason why he is avoiding the division.

He should get healthy and fight. 155 seems a good fit

Fighters knows that move up a weightclass is a whole different level of hardest competition.

even and undefeated fighter like Khabib doesn´t want to take the risk.

Hei is supposedly beating up Luke, Cain and DC in the gym, so can't he just move to WW?

However, I am pretty sure he is exaggerating the whole kidney/liver thing. In every workplace, you have a guy that stays in bed if he has a runny nose or a small cough. A guy thet doesn't come to work if he is not 100%, even if he knows it causes a lot of problems for his employer and his colleagues. Always making excuses on how he is almost dying because he is so ill.
