Isn't it better for Cowboy to leave Jackson-Wink anyway

Someone said he's been there for 11 years. And for most part of that he hasn't developed as a fighter. Don't get me wrong, he's a good fighter, but hasn't improved for many years.

I personally would've liked to see him leave much before and how else he can grow somewhere new. I doubt there is much he can learn from the same people at JW any further.

Sounded like he was training at his ranch quite a bit anyway, similar to Koscheck with AKA after a while. But, having his old team corner against him must be awkward for him. I'm sure he feels betrayed a bit, but realistically, most people arent going to care about his feelings. We will, however, criticize Jackson/Wink's team.

Maybe after 11 years a change is better, still a messed up way for it to happen, if what he says is the whole story

Yeah the guy is done and it might be better to reinvent his game elsewhere. But it isn't always that simple. You train there for 11 years of your life. You made many good friendships throughout the years. It's not easy to pick up and leave.

Then there's the whole loyalty thing where he didn't think his coaches would work against him. He should know better. It happened with Rashad and JJ. It happened with Diego. It happened with AA when Overeem came over.

Cowboy should know better. But then and again I too would be pissed off if I was in his situation.

And why stay where you are not wanted or apparently resented.

    Fuck that, don't be a clingy-x...

TJs departure from TAM should be a nice wake up call for all the fighters on the roster. Do whats best for you.

Yeah, Ceronne couldn't evolve at one of the most successful MMA training camps in the history of the sport.

Must have been the camps problem.
