correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't a person on coke have a super high level of energy, which can be used for extra training, thus giving them an unfair advantage?

i realize bananas, redbull, monster energy drinks etc etc can do the same, but his opponent (Cormier) didn't have access to this illegal substance as well.

No, it's not. You may feel superhuman, but in reality, the opposite is true.

What happens after it wears off? You gotta look at the whole picture here. It might be a PED during the fight, but I wouldn't count it as one in training.

The opposite. You really don't want to excessively strain your heart while coked up.

Every athlete has enough energy to break their body down during a workout. What things like steroids do is allow your body to rebuild itself better. There is no equivalent effect from cocaine. Even the experience of feeling energized is psychological. It's the opposite of a PED.

Seriously how would this even benefit training? You would feel good for like 40 minutes then come down, more downside than anything.

I think it's fair to say Jones wasn't sat in the carpark outside the gym doing lines off a CD case immediately before training

It wouldn't have made a world of difference.

Jones would have won that fight if he was drunk and had a stomach flu.

Yes while you are on it. I doubt he was high on fight day.
