Islam should be in WW title pictur

When islam moves to WW he should be in line to fight leon edwards. He solidified his spot in p4p #1 by dominating volkanovski and would cement his legacy on mma rushmore by beating edwards for the title.


I think islam is an awful matchup for leon. Islam has has become a terror in the standup departments and i dont think leon could take him down.

Islam said right before the Volk fight he has a really hard time with welters. He would basically need time. Usman or Burns would brutalize him.

I certainly think his cardio, strength and chin would improve at WW but not sure if he has the reach or the size to compete with those guys. He would probably look something like he did against Green which was a catchweight fight and he did look damn strong that night.

A smaller weight cut could definitely benefit Islam like it has for others in the past. I think he's good enough to compete with top WW and rise to the top. Question is if he believes.
