    ISIS released a new video. It's pretty horrible. I'm not going to link to the page, but here is what Americanmilitarynews.com had to say;

    They even make it a point to light the fuel like 30 feet away so that it slowly burns towards the hanging victims. Sick stuff.

    Yeah, I've seen it. I thought they said they'd stop making these videos. On the other side, a live feed of an ISIS member being tortured live feed from the internet on 4chan.

    That may be the "payback" that the title alludes to. Yesterday, it was reported that ISIS had completely destroyed the Temple of Bel, which is Syria's most important ancient site. These guys are the ultimate dickheads.

    is there any sort of non political reason we don't just wipe these monkey's out? The political reasons are pretty gross and I know they serve a purpose in the reason for our government as well as Israel, but fuck...

    I am about as non violent as it gets, but these dudes need the hard goodbye in the worst way.

    Exactly. Why is the planet tolerating this? This vile disease needs to be erased ASAP. I don't even care if it's not in spectacular, painful fashion. Just get rid of it!

    The biggest problem is;

    1. We don't want to get into a long, drawn altercation, attempting to crush an insurgency. It would take a long and costly occupation.

    2. What do we do with Iraq and Syria afterwards? Who could take charge and ensure this doesn't occur again as soon as we leave?

    1) You're right. It's likely impossible. It's aimless. Like playing whack-a-mole.

    2) I honestly think we need to draw new lines in the sand. Iraq and Syria are both less than a century old. Clearly they have failed.
    I know Kurdistan is touchy because they claim land in Turkey and Iran, but would they honestly not settle for an official Kurdistan derived of land from Iraq and Syria?
    Then split the rest up amongst Shiite and Sunni. Build big ass walls, and call it a day.

    The video is a response to a video the Shia militias made in which Abu Azrael burned an ISIS fighter alive and then butchered his flesh with a sword.

    In fact, the Muslims of the Middle Ages were far more civilized and reformed than these savages.

    PMUs in Iraq, Kurds in Syria and Iraq, Hezbollah and Assad in Syria. Sure, some of these groups are dickheads, but nowhere near the level of ISIS.

    The problem is political. Turkey, Israel and Saudi Arabian interests are in the way.

    Didn't Egypt, Jordan and Iran offer to send in ground forces? Why just let them? Us trying to block them is very bad morally.

    Sometimes I wonder what creative execution they will do next.

    I would pack a cyanide pill if I was over there and could get my hands on one. Would hate to be taken alive by these sub-humans.
