Is Whittaker the MW-champion we need?

He lacks charisma but has great skills and I can't see anyone beating him anytime soon
 
I'm not sure if he will bring stability to the MW division since he has to beat Romero again to do it, but I do know this. Whittaker is one of the most sincere and likeable guys in the UFC so he sure as hell deserves all the support he gets or will get.

Strangely enough, I see him beating all the "big" fighters in the division but I think he will struggle against Kelvin IF they fight someday.
 
Yes, Whittaker is an awesome champion. I don't see any MW beating him right now. Romero is his biggest threat, but I think he will get it done again.
 
He's a worthy champ.

This time he will KO Romero.
 
I don’t think so. A lot of guys Are upset by this, but I believe the mw division has a vacuum after Anderson/Vitor/Hendo etc got old. In combination with USADA, I think we have a relatively weak mw division now. Several medio WWs Are now moving up to get a chance at the MW belt.

I think in a couple of years it will stabilise.

Bisping was the savvy vet who steadied the division. Now it is chaos and a guy has the belt without even winning it.

As long as he keeps fighting regularly and knocking the fuck out of people, I‘m happy with him being the champ.

Could not care less about his mic talents or personality
 
I really like him and hope he keeps winning, but I feel like he is maybe overachieving a bit right now and will be come back down to Earth after this injury layoff.

UFC MW division is pretty weak right now, but the company always seems eager to push Weidman and Kelvin forward, and those are probably tough tough fights for Robert. I would not be surprised if we see a new champ in the next year or two.
 
Stopped reading at not fan friendly. He is great with fans, doesn't talk shit and is exciting as to watch.
 
Still sad Yoel lost to him. Yoel would have been the champ I deserved and needed.

Bobby Knuckles is a good champ though.
