casuals actually don't know who the hell this guy is, genuinely. is he hated by the UFC, or is he just too boring to waste promotion money on?

He's not a real champion yet. He won an interim belt or something and then was just given the championship after GSP retired again. He hasn't actually won a championship yet.

It's less bad promotion and more that the UFC's title picture is fucking stupid with lineal champions, official champions, and interim champions all having a somewhat legitimate claim to being the champion.

He won the title and has been out of commission ever since. Hard to promote a guy that's inactive for a year.

Does he still spend all his money on league of legends? I really hope so.

Dana promote people like Sage, PvZ, Adesanya instead of champs

I dont understand this. So nobody can ever be champ unless they fight GSP for middleweight title? Or are you deciding now that the rematch is a title fight?

Also, after all colbys nonsense, whittaker is still 5 x more popular than him in terms of social media.

Amanda Nunes before the Ronda fight.

Hell even now still, for the most part.

No, of course Whittaker is the official "champion". But his belt means less than other championship belts right now just like Khabib's "championship" means less. Ferguson and Conor both have reasonable claims to being the champion too. They're just not official champions. Or like Jon Jones could be the real 205 lb champion. Or like Conor is also the lineal 145 champion and has a win over Max Holloway.

If Whittaker wins a couple more fights then he can be a real, normal champion just like TJ or Tyron. But the UFC's gotta stop this shit lol. There's only like 2 or 3 actual, real champions right now. Everyone else is just a "maybe" champion and it hurts the promotion for normal fans who have no idea what's going on. It's just way too confusing.

he had chicken pox with staph infection. what did you do today? burn some toast?

Max holloway isnt the real champion?

Who the fuck knows? Maybe? There's like 10 dudes who could somewhat legitimately claim to be champions at multiple weight classes. Robert Whittaker isn't a draw like a normal champion would be because casual fans have no idea he's the actual champion because there's like 10 belts held by 10 different dudes at different times.

Basically, the UFC belt doesn't mean anything anymore.

Nicco Montano by far.
Most people thinks she's a dude

both guys have a great story,

whoever wins Saturday will be getting some due recognition

Here in Australia from what I’ve noticed the jeff horn boxing match is getting promoted much more than Rob is, I think the UFC just can’t expand it’s audience unless a superstar comes along

Australia knows who he is. But Nicco Montano is the least promoted. She isn't even legit as I think we'll find out when the 125 women's division gets sorted.

The early UFC could promote fighters and build hype... Now the UFC seems Busch league.

I dont really have anything more to ask on this topic. Good day.
