I heard many rumors, maybe he can't get licensed even though no TRT.

I saw the weedman fight moved back.

What is going on with Vitor anyway? I haven't been paying much attention.

I think he is easily one of the worst matchups for Weidman in the division. So i'd like to see it. I remember when Vitor first came back into the UFC, everyone was complaining about how he was Dana's pet and was getting preferential treatment, on and on.

Now it seems like Dana has joined the chorus of naysayers and isn't on his friends list anymore.

He's getting things straightened out. It's still his shot when he comes back.

I dont get it, i just read that he wanted to fight weidman. Is this the UFC pushing him out, or him putting himself on the sidelines?

I'm getting the feeling that he's already lost his shot, Dana does not seem pleased and Weidman will continue to get injured.

He put himself on the sidelines.

Dana's not happy about his situation with TRT. When Vitor gets that straightened out, which he basically has, he'll be back to fight Weidman.

It better be. I'm not a Vitor fan, but, the guy earned it.

He's been cleared in Brazil as far as TRT being out of his system. He's complaining now that his testosterone is much lower than a normal person and he is fighting at a disadvantage.

His real test now is getting licensed in Nevada. He has his prior drug failure there and has to prove to them that he is clean and TRT is out of his system. They are likely going to bombard him with random tests so he's just trying to make sure nothing is going to come up.

FACT: around Feb he had a drug test. the results were not published

RUMOR: rumor has it his #'s were ridiculous

FACT: a few days later, NSAC decided to ban TRT, and many other areas followed suit

FACT: Vitor has been on TRT for a few years

RUMOR: Vitor has been on something for many many years

FACT: Vitor tested + once, in 2006.

FACT: after TRT was banned, Dana cancelled Vitor v Weidman under the guise that with TRT banned, Vitor shouldn't be fighting clean with so little preparation. so they dropped Vitor and made Weidman v Machida

FACT: soon after that, Weidman had surgery and they pused Weidman v Machida back a few months

OPINION: some people think it's bs that they pushed back Weidman v Machida, and think based on Dana's comments when he dropped Vitor (that it was b/c Vitor needs more time to get his body right after a few years of TRT), that the few more months would now be ample time.

FACT: the answer is no, Vitor is not currently scheduled for a title shot.

CONCLUSION: ask 10 people and you'll get 11. but there's the facts, opinions and rumors, as i see them. do with it what you will, TS.

Yep. Also, imagine how sick would be Vitor vs. Weidman or Machida.

Vitor vs. Machida should've happened already.

I wasn't around much due to work, but it did look highly suspicious about Vitor, but there was that espn article that eviscerated trt and got national attention. If I were Dana, I would just move the fight anywhere else but Vegas, i don't even understand why Dana wanted it to be in Vegas to begin with. Ofc Vitor was going to have problems getting licensed in Vegas.

Vitor should have been licensed in Vegas WAY before that fight was ever signed or agreed to. Anyone have conspiracy theories why they decided to hold that fight in Vegas? Maybe to quietly prove that all is well.

That's some CT talk, imo. Or did Chris make up his knee surgery?

It'll happen sooner or later. Either Machida beats Weidman, or Weidman beats them both.

i think you've got it backwards.

all of Vitor's fights since TRT have been in Brazil, and that looks bad for the UFC. the best thing they could do is have the next Vitor fight in NV, CA or NJ, for legitimacy purposes.

Should Vitor have a fight with Silva to see things play out?

Bar some contender gets a flying knee KO over another contender, Vitor should be up next.

3 head kick KOs in a row, impressive and very easy to promote.

Sure, that'd be awesome. Title shot comes first though. :)

    which one? Anderson or Wandy?
he'd 1-1 combined against Silvas currently.
