Styles make fights. Gastelum's style is completely different from Vettori and Jan. Some people have no problems with some styles, some people struggle heavily with other styles.

I do think people may be short selling Jan. That is a big powerful dude who has looked excellent in his last few fights. Then again, you could have said the same think about Costa. The guys Israel caught were the ones who stood still in his range rather than moving forward or backward. People who had a better sense of distance and better discipline to stay out of range when tired, even someone like Tavares, were going the distance with him.

Adesanya is a threat to KO anyone TS. Ask yourself who has Adesanya fought besides Romero, that he didn't hurt or wobble at least once.

It isn't about his power. It's about his ability to hit people with shots they are not expecting/can't see and/or when they are out of position. This is something that will carry over no matter what weight he's fighting.

Listen- it's easy to reference 1 recent fight ( and that's not even "recent"). You're going to have fights like those .....it happens. Hes looked more impressive than not ( that fight and AGAIN- if yoel was still here, a re match would find Israel as a significant favorite.....just further proves my point).
The middleweight division today is miserable - vettori, Kelvin & till are like top 5 guys.....laughable.
