If she was even remotely attractive she would be in the UFC.

Cyborg got promoted

What ugly girls with skills are not being promoted?
Very true, but this is a case of the UFC having to do that in order to maintain the guise of legitimacy. There is WMMA in the UFC because guys like seeing hot girls fight, because having women in there makes it seem a little less brutal to many of those who might be critical of that, and of course for the all-important political correctness. WMMA is NOT part of the UFC because the UFC wants to promote the best fighters in the world. The best woman - Amanda - is not in the top 5000 best fighters in the world.

As they've opened the doors to women, they can't not promote the best female fighters no matter what they look like. That would make them look very bad.

Yes.
In a ridiculously competitive mma landscape with a very small window of opportunity, the attention that someone like Ostovich gets is not gonna go unnoticed by the female roster, which eventually might lead to a trend that female fighters "invest" in their appearance hoping that would give them bigger exposure.

WMMA skill levels have always been far behind the males. So promoting the good looking ones made the most sense when they all sucked(figuratively). Then you had a few that looked good AND could fight. Carano was the first major one of those. Rousey was the second. The UFC though Holms or Van Zant(dancing with the stars??)would take up that mantle but neither has really filled that void.
Simple fact is, sex sells. Skills sell. Sex AND skills sell more. The general public and media loves to see a 125 lb cheerleader lookalike beat the shit out of people because it reaffirms the stance of equality.
The UFC is a business, if it sells they will put it front and center.
All of this seems like common sense to me.

The whole "demeaning" argument is off base IMO. The WMMA fighters are the ones choosing what to post on instagram. Notice how little of those instagrams promote fighting related gear and training,etc? Instead you see a lot of T & A. Women worldwide understand that horny males go after that like rabid dogs and women love that instahoe money.
I cant hate, let them make the money and let me see them thiccc asses!

Im almost sure everything in this post is wrong. Lol.

Why do you think he hasnt gotten his title shot? Why does Rockhold keep getting title fights while Jacare gets ignored?

MMA wasn't demeaning to women when Gina was the face of WMMA.
<NewGina>
you were probably just looking for an excuse to bring in the chubby can crusher, but Elite XC was definitely demeaning, as they didn’t think the women were good enough for five minute rounds.
