Do you think on paper this is a good card ?
No, not at all. As far name recognition and relevance to the standing, this is definitely one of the worst. Yet, I believe that this is a brilliant move on the UFC's part as it allows them to showcase up-and-coming talent which is needed for a marketing push. More importantly, it keeps PPV's loaded with higher-tier fighters which is beneficial to us fans.
I get that you want to have a relevant card, but that is simply not possible with the amount of cards the UFC is putting out. And as far as I'm concerned, I'd rather have more cards than less even if it means we get this type of card every once in a while. After all, it's free.
