Is UFC 200 the perfect time to book Ferguson/Diaz?

With Conor being pulled, Khabib more than likely getting the next shot, is UFC 200 the ideal time to book Ferguson/Diaz in order to get the next contender ready after Khabib? How would you feel if this was booked? Who do you think would win?

At this point, with Ferguson hopefully getting cleared this week, it'll allow him to return to form, and Diaz gets a highly ranked opponent.

Agree, it'd be a great match up, fun one, and perfect timing because Khabib is waiting for RDA-Eddie winner, and nothing to do for Tony in the meantime.

Hell NO

You dont back out of a fight and get rewarded with a bigger fight.

Make chisea vs ferg.

Now I know what you're all thinking. You're all thinking the same thing. Who in the hell is tony Ferguson?

Better fight than Nate v Conor 2. I'd love to see it.

But that fight isn't in the same stratosphere numbers wise and certainly isnt main event material but yeah nice fight for mma fans.

The only way Diaz stays main event is if he fights Lawler or GSP.

nate wants the biggest fights, ferguson doesn't cut it.

I think it's a great idea

Great fight but no way a main event for 200. Plus Nate has a ton of momentum for the UFC, they're not gonna waste that on a risky fight to much lower fanfare, except to hardcore fans. They need to give Nate a big fight. Ferguson is not a big draw fight.

Sure as hell not for the main event lmfao

Imagine UFC 200: Diaz vs Ferguson

LOL

After 2 years layoff Khabib TKOed Horcher who has full time job and he take this fight in short notice in catchweight. Horcher looked like a zombie on the scale. Nurmagomedov should fight for no 1 contender spot against Ferguson not for the title to prove he can stay healthy and he still can defeat top guys in 155.

Makes sense...

GSP vs. Lawler
Diaz vs. Ferguson
Aldo vs. Edgar
Tate vs. Nunes
Cain vs. Browne

Is a pretty sweet card.

I doubt Ferguson wants to wait that much. He is ready to go
