Demian Maia versus Matt Brown on the PRELIMS

Shogun fighting an upcoming rookie in Corey Anderson

Cyborg's UFC debut after years of waiting

the GOAT Anderson Silva versus a rookie who has had KILLER finishes but is unproven in Uriah Hall

JACARE SOUZA versus Vitor "KO you or die trying" Belfort

then the possible heavyweight GOAT Fabricio Werdum versus the only young upcoming top killer in Stipe Miocic

like what???????????????????? what beats this recently on paper?

scissors?

Yes. 198 is absolutely fucking bonkers. Anderson Silva is the 3rd fight on the main card. I don't even care if he's not in his prime. He's Anderson fucking Silva.

As far as previous stacked cards, I have a soft spot for heavyweights so I was fucking pumped for the original 146 card. Too bad about Overeem pissing hot and the injuries though.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem
Cain Velasquez vs. Frank Mir

Roy Nelson vs. Antonio Silva
Shane del Rosario vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
Mark Hunt vs. Stefan Struve

Great card, but 199 is better imo

Straight insanity. Maia/Brown off the main card. Shogun and Cyborg low on the card

Anderson mofuckin Silva in a three round non main or co-main event fight with a striker who is going to bring it

Does it get more crazy a striker vs grappler scrap than Vitor vs Jacare? Both guys are among the best ever at what they do

And Werdum vs Miocic is a bonkers guaranteed stoppage where at least one of those guys leaves that cage finished and in rough shape

the event sold out in 6 hours. Super crazy. These next months are gonna be awesome.

Even if some of the top names are out of their prime, it's still a crazy card. Definitely one of the most stacked ever. Will it deliver? That's an entirely different question.

Super stacked. One of the best top to bottom I can recall. Reminds me of an old PRIDE event.

Then again it does have several PRIDE vets on that card.

45K soccer stadium? Hopefully it doesn't rain that day lol

P4p the most 40 year old Brazilians ever.

It's almost impossible to compare the hype of this/any upcoming card to stacked cards of the past

It's really difficult to look at past fight cards and determine how good a fighter may have been perceived to be at that time

One of the best cards in recent memory for sure. I hate to jinx it but I just can't even imainge a quarter of these fights being stinkers.

I haven't been this excited for a card in a long time... Possibly since UFC 100

I usually scroll down the fight list to see at what point I'll start watching. Sadly, a lot of cards now days I'm not even interested in watching until the last fight or two. I looked at this one the other day and couldn't believe it. This will be the first time I'll tune in before the PPV in a while.

Its a really good card, even the FP prelims have some fights I'm game for...Moicano vs Tukhugov is the first fucking FP prelim for crying out loud!

Corey Anderson will bring the mood down
