Does it matter? If this fight happens TJ will beat him.

Someone needs to explain to me why Dillashaw wants this fight.

His "money fight", his big pay day is at BW against Garbrandt.

DJ isn't even in his top 5 possible biggest fights as a non-champion.

And what happens if he doesn't.Thats the question to ask.It will be equivalent to Aldo's ko in 13 seconds.Tjs career would be done.

You couldn't sell Tj vs Cody if you tried if he loses with all the promotions in the world

No one cares that pre-Ludwig Dillashaw lost to Dodson and a lot of people think he got robbed in those split decisions and he's already avenged one of them.

Well TJ wants the FLW belt and so does Cody. TJ is still gonna fight Cody sooner or later of course the fight is just post phoned till Cody recovers his back which is predicted Oct/Nov assuming everything goes as planned. But I think TJ/Cody both want two belts simultaneously probably to shit on Conor and be more of a draw

If I was TJ id be gunning for that Cruz rematch before he retires then fight Cody sometime at the end of the year. TJ should also let MM break Silva's record so when they fight it will be even bigger and possibly champion vs champion.

You need to emphazie the "later" part. Or maybe even change it to never if he loses to DJ.

Everyone should have faith in their abilities but losing to DJ gives him nothing. It pushes him so back behind the queue that it will take years or a Bisping level miracle to get another title fight.

If I was your manager, I would tell you to let me handle the business deals. You wait on Garbrant and it's not even close.

Because he's on a slide people forget but Barao was a very special fighter when TJ beat him down. And he did it twice..

    When did he say that?

Then push for the interim title. Dilly's money fight is at BW. Before the controversy, DJ isn't even in Dilly's top 3 biggest fight as a non-champion.

Even if he loses to DJ though cody will still probably want to fight him just because the backstory and "snake" thing would make it a possible draw plus I think Cody genuinely hates him.

I can't disagree more. Garbrandt would want to avoid Dilly like the plague. Dilly isn't a big draw now but if he loses, he will get shit on by Dana and Cody and Cruz. Can't you imagine the "he lost to a flyweight" rhetoric that they would spew at him.

Because he's confidant he will beat DJ and then he can say I beat the P4P #1.(even though DJ isn't actually)
