When they signed him I was assuming he would be doing controversial interviews exposing dana white and the ufc, would be hyping bellator as the place to be, and constantly making headlines.

Instead, hes been very quiet, messed up the first ppv by pulling out at the last minute, and aside from the quick Shlemenko fight his presence basically consists in spamming his punishment athletics clothing brand everywhere.

My question to you guys is should he be doing more? or is he doing enough by just fighting when hes healthy?

Bombers dropping some BellaBombs™ on Tito!

He probably should have stayed retired

Pretty sure the crowd in Mississippi cheered louder for Tito than Rampage. I think his presence alone is pulling weight.

Well, if that PPV was as successful as mentioned in the other thread (100k+), you've got to attribute some of that to Tito. Is that enough to justify what was probaby a pretty nice contract? Who knows...only Bellator's accountants know that.

He's had two fights scheduled so far, how are we supposed to know? What more could he do other than fight?

This. Why is Tito supposed to go out of his way and do all this extra stuff? He fought and destroyed one of their best fighters and champions in his only fight so far.

Fighting is all he needs to do.

So, if he isn't constantly talking shit about Dana... he isn't pulling his weight?

Titos career was built on being a controversial figure imho built on the foundation of the lions den beef and his battles with dana over fighter pay etc. Its always been about the charisma, attitude, and controversy with him and for whatever reason he isnt trying to sell fights anymore or bring attention to the sport or brand when he is more than capable of easily doing that. He is holding back imo and I hope bellator matches him up with someone whos got a big mouth and gonna get in his face like crazy to lure him out of his shell.

Tito makes a buffoon out of himself every time he talks. Maybe its best he keeps his mouth shut.

So does chael sonnen, and thats the main reason he gets gifted title shots, tv time, and so on. Fans like that stuff even more than the actual fights alot of the time.

Chael obviously has a bit more charisma than Tito. He also has the ability to speak clearly. Tito is a mush-mouthed buffoon. I get it... you want someone to talk shit about Zuffa and Uncle Dana. I just don't think I'd elect Tito to be the face (or voice) of that campaign.

He said it himself "God put me on this earth as a tool".

Notice the difference between these two videos.
