    Can't grab the belt? Big deal, grab the top of his pants and use the wedgie split to do the same thing.

    nobody grab both hands on the nelt any longer as the belt slides down and you should be either controlling his hips or his arm pit. i.e shit pass.

    not that i will tell mario perry in his face. maybe good for advanced BB guys.

    I'm a white belt(pretty strong though) and I saw this video a while ago. I don't usually use this method to open the guard but I have pulled it off against almost all the guys in our gym from white belt to purple belt. It works almost against anyone except guys that are much taller than I and have very long legs. Next week I will try it in a competition and see what happens.

    The pass isn't shit!! It works really well! I have been using it for 6 yrs but never used it in comps ( usually cos I pull guard ). But when I have done it lately training with guys from other gyms , they can't stop it but the say it's not legal.

    i spoke to the head ref of the afbjj (australia) and he said it will be considered a foul i i will be warned guess i cant use that then :(

    Maybe it's possible to use just one hand...but you can get armbared easily.
