Gonna be in this area soon and was wondering if these guys are legit Kyokushin karateka? I'm a grappler so I know very little about the standup game. Thanks just curious. Always liked the style of kk guys.

Looks ok to me, if you ask on somewhere like Kyokushin4life you'll probably be able to talk to someone that has or is training there .

Looks VERY legit to me. Head instructor trained under Sosai (i.e. Mas Oyama, founder of Kyokushin) and is a member of Kyokushin-kan, one of the more progressive Kyokushin organizations (they've been experimenting with knockdown karate with facepunches in compact knuckle guards, their "shinken shobu" rules).

Agree with Harukaze - very legit place.

Not often you can say that you're instructor was an uchi-desi of Mas Oyama & trained and stayed in the young lion dormitory.

With a background like that, even without actually going there - you know the quality of training will probably be better than the norm.

That looks awesome. If I had a solid Kyoshkin place near me, Id drop everything else and go Kyoshkin.
