He's won 1 of his last 4 fights in the octagon.

He's cancelled a highly anticipated bout between him and Vitor Belfort, no fault of his own but the UFC executives are probably pissed right now especially since this was Vitor's real retirement fight.

The guy is 33 years old, he's not exactly a young and promising prospect.

He's one of the biggest disappointments in UFC history. At one point people were saying he could beat Anderson Silva back when Silva was champ, now like I said earlier he's won 1 of his last 4 fights, with an overall record of 13-8.

Is this it for his UFC career? Not talking about his entire MMA career, just his UFC one.

He's one loss away from being cut. Remember when he thought he was Anderson Silva.

He'd be better off in Bellator anyway.

I don't think he's a disappointment because no one intelligent enough had any big expectations for him outside being a fun striker to watch.

He's fought some tough guys - like, he's lost to Mousasi, Brunson, and Whittaker in his 1-3 stint. Is that really that bad? Most guys would lose to them.

He entered the UFC very green at 7-2. He's fought a lot of top 10 guys throughout his career and has come out 13-8. He probably would have beat Vitor.

He's not a top 5 guy but fringe top 10, sure. And i think that meets his realistic expectations, unless you believe Dana White TUF hype but that's your own fault.

Very disappointing fighter.

And Jesus I hope that claim about his death is false.

People had HUGE expectations for him. Dana White was calling him the next big thing, Chael Sonnen and MANY others thought he would be the one to beat Silva back when Silva looked invincible. Yeah, it's all pretty bad.

Could be. He'd get signed by bellator or someone but he's definitely on a downward trajectory, especially because (I hope) he will be going up a weight class.

I'd like to see him vs Michael venom page, be a good fight

uriah halls style looks like a tekken video game but his style isnt that effective in the octagon because it depends to much on the momentum for spinning k.o kicks and u have rarely these opportunities.. hes not a grinder like mousasi.

Two things. 1, TUF hype isn't a proper indication of potential. Probably don't buy into it. And 2, taking Chael's opinion of anything Anderson Silva at that time is also probably not something to buy into.

Wonderboy has a similar style and it has worked great for him. Difference is that Hall has always had weaker hands and weaker mind state.

Tony Ferguson, Nate Diaz, Michael Bisping, Roy Nelson, TJ Dillashaw, John Dodson, etc.....

Wasn't just Chael's opinion, it was many many others.

This is groundbreaking even by Sherdog standards.

Fighter loses? Time to retire.

And now, fighter gets sick trying to make weight? Time to retire.

I didn't say TUF fighters aren't good I said don't buy into hype surrounding TUF. It's broadcasted on TV so they will try and market it in extreme ways. Hype is one of them.

I also said no one intelligent had high expectations. People that understand the sport don't get tricked by a flashy kick on fucking TUF lol
