To anyone who did martial arts when they were younger and are adults now, can you still fight even though you did not train since childhood?

Did Judo when I was around 10-14, would probably just look to clinch up and trip someone if I got into a fight as at school.

I started jiu Jitsu at 30. I did Kempo karate as a kid. At 51, I still have a pretty good front kick.

Tae Kwon Do as a young teenager. Boxing and Jiu Jitsu as an adult.

    I'll fight anyone, anytime.

That seemed to be enough for a certain former Women's World Champion.

Say you didn't continue boxing and Jiu Jitsu, would you be able to hold your own from Tae Kwon Do knowledge alone?

I did Judo a couple of times when I was like 7 or 8 because the girl I was in love with did Judo and I wanted to get into the same class as her. But she was like a seasoned Judo savant who'd been doing that shit for years. I was still in the same class as her but she was like the one they brought in to break in all the newbies. So one of the first things I did was get slammed on my ass by her judo hip toss type thing. She was like

So I quit Judo and never got to be her boyfriend. She probably grew up to be fucken Ronda or something. Looking at the all the judo guys in MMA history maybe if I'd stuck around I'd have grown up tougher and taller than 5'8. And had more game with the ladies

My father got me into judo when I was 6 years old. Stopped when I started wrestling in high school.

Most definitely. My kicks are lethal. Time/measured just right, my spinning hook kick will KO a thoroughbred.

I took karate for a month when I was a kid.

Then, the free trial was over.

    So, I stopped.

  12. I took Tang Soo Do as a kid up until I earned my red belt and then they wanted me to do weapon katas and I bitched out.

I then took a few bjj lessons from Cole Escovedo and then learned from my buddy who was training a lot at the time.
