Is there a more boring champion in UFC history than Dom?

Thoughts?

 

I enjoy watching Dom, if for nothing else than to see how he makes great fighters look average.

His defense and angles are GOAT level.

If he had big power, he would be insanely popular. That's his main caveat.

c'mon bro frankie was the pitter patter point striker who would take you down at the last 30 seconds of a round just to get points. his fights were exciting because gray maynard almost knocked him out 7 times and because benson kicked him in the face once

Agree. The only times Frankie has been in good fights are when he's defending strikes with his face.

 

1 out of Tito's 5 defenses was a decision. Boring, mhm.

I think Dom is a good champion. Good on TV, quite funny when trolling.

And his style makes fights interesting to see if someone can figure it out.

his last three first were pretty entertaining if you ask me.

 

I love the way Dom makes so many Sherdoggers sob. Too many fans want JB in every fight and can't appreciate great technical fighters. If you want brutality in every fight, stick to Bum Fights.

 

Yeah, he's boring as hell. He only uses that movement of his to get close enough to tap his opponent and then move away and do more of his awkward dancing. I wish he would take finishing more seriously but he don't give a shit. He is perfectly fine with doing some kind of awkward Elaine dance and out pointing his opponent. He's as boring as he is good at what he does.

 

Cruz is unique but dull as hell. Plus he talks a lot of crap for someone who specialises in decisions and non-engagement.

 

I appreciate Dom as a great technical fighter but he stalls a lot. He never uses that great technique to go for a finish. He really is not fun to watch after you've seen it a few times. I get it, no specific rhythm, lateral movement, angles and everything you could want from a fighter's foot movement... and nothing else.
