So what if it is the sport of MMA and the UFC's biggest event. They now have a guy from the struggling sideshow industry of Pro wrestling. That's a million times better, more relevant and mainstream then MMA/UFC. #LookOutSoccerTheTimeIsNow.

The UFC would have signed CM Punk in any era of the organization's existence. Pride and Strikeforce would have done the same thing. Do not pretend that the MMA's standards have decreased.

You do know CM punk is more popular globally than both combined. As entertaining as Sonnen and the mcGoat are, *U S A will always tune in for CM Punk
