is the key to being champ losing to a lower level guy?

    Stipe - murdered by struve goes on to ko werdum

    Nunes - murdered by zingano goes on to finish tate.

    Lewis - murdered by sean jordan....goes on to finish stipe????

    I think Conor's ACL tear made him think about body mechanics much more. But even though I like Conor he beat Eddie who now is lucky to get a rematch with Dustin. Can't take away from Conor but he happened to get the right matchups and when he didn't (Mendes) they were short notice.

    I think Nate Diaz was also coming into his prime at the time and Diaz bro's even Cabo Diaz is in condition.

    Sometimes fighting lower ranked fighters can present some challenges. There is not nearly as much information on their style and they have little to lose.

    We just happen to be in a period with a bunch of weakass transition champions. I mean Michael fucking Bisping has a belt

    Like when Shogun won the light heavyweight title. He was never gonna be a long term champ, he was just keeping the belt warm for Jones

    Woodley already proved that he's not great. He got whooped by Marquardt and couldn't pull the trigger against Rory and Shields. He's gonna lose the belt sooner than later

    @Frank Edgar TWood is lucky Rory is out of the picture. I have Rory over TWOOD still. Rory matches up great against TWOOD it's sad to see the UFC losing the best fighter arguably in the division.
