Been on the receiving end of a fib/tib spiral fracture down into my ankle, we were doing some matt work and ended up getting a guy judo tossed onto my leg while sprawled. A surgery or two...lol, 5 casts, nearly a year rehab and I was finally able to be somewhat fully functional again, well still have an obvious limp, but better than what the doctors initially thought... Freak injuries with a long lasting rehabilitation definitely suck far worse than anything you can bounce back quickly from IMO, just my .02
