Both seem to have the same approach to stopping fights.

Either too early or 2 late...make ur mind.

There's early stoppages, there's arguably late stoppages, and there's letting a guy take about twenty unanswered, undefended punches in a flattened out back mount position.

Fighting is, and always will be a dangerous endeavor, but MMA needs to protect the health of the competitors as best it can. There were a few spots in the first round where I wouldn't have had a serious complaint if the ref stopped it in favor of Lombard, and I'm a Magny fan.

Do you understand that when u are pinned down in certain position you can hardly do anything? Also these shots were bouncing of his gloves not going into face 100%

Guy was hurt, but not nowhere near out.

You don't have to be out for the fight to be stopped. If you're not defending yourself or improving your position, it should be stopped. That was disgusting, and that referee is a world class fuckup

Are you serious? He took at least ten to fifteen of those punches directly to his head, no blocking. After that, Lombard rolled over a bit and got his glove up, I'll concede that, but it should have been stopped well before that.
