The whole idea of a food franchise is to maximize earnings and get clients through name recognition. Its a great way to make the owner a rich person but ialso always the opposite of quality. And if you get at least medium quality it is insanely overpriced. It happens to every franchise no matter coffee, sandwiches...etc Its always much better and healthier to look for local alternatives.

Regarding Subway its dogshit because the sandwiches are at the core of the concept and the bread is crap. Cheap industrial produced sugar bombs. America still doesnt realize as a society that its not fat that is the big health problem but sugar. They will eat low fat , low carb sugar bombs and think its healthy.
 
i think any kind of outside food is gonna have tons of sodium which will ultimately interfere with weight loss

is a subway sandwich better than a big mac or whopper? I mean i guess, but probably not by much sadly

I thought i was eating real healthy by goin to subway and ordering the double meat salad, but looks like that isnt heatlhy either

why play the guessing game when u can just cook your own food and be sure
 
Whole wheat bread, hold the sauce and salt and pile on the veggies. It's not a chicken breast and steamed broccoli, but neither is it the end of the world. A cup of moccawhateverthefuccahino is probably worse for you.
 
They both have around the same amount of calories. I guess I should of used a regular cheese burger as a better example. Which is around 380 calories compared to 500 calories.
I guess it depends on the type of salad and how much you are eating. Vegetable salad is extremely low in calories.

Order 2 bun less double cheese burgers with a large Diet Coke and you’re good. That’s 4 Patties with cheese, some lettuce, tomatoes, and mustard. More full-filled than a salad with dressing and has less calories.

The conversation started when I stated a salad with dressing from Burger King has more calories than a cheese burger from Burger King. My point is eating “healthy” is over rated. Just count your calories.

No you most certainly did not state that you were talking about a salad from burger king. You only mentioned burger king once. About the salad you said "A fucking salad with dressing on has more calories than a double cheeseburger sandwich."

When you mentioned burger king you just said "I eat burger king and junk food now and have a 6 pack". If you mentioned the salad in the following sentence I probably would have assumed it was from burger king. Either way this is a dumb thing for us to argue about lol

Oh whatever. We are talking about fucking fast food in this thread. Not home made meals. My point still stands though. People have a false pre conceived notion about salads. They think it’s going to help them lose weight, when in reality, it’s getting them fat, because they don’t know anything about calories. Even people add a shit ton of dressing at home with their homemade salad and think it’s healthy because it’s a fucking salad. Salads are overrated and should not be advertised as a solution to become healthy and burn fat.

I haven't eaten there since very often since ~2018 when a study was done on them. Discovered their meat (I believe the chicken) was only about 50% meat. If I do eat there. I just do a veggie wrap or something.
 
I used to be the same way. I would eat subway every day getting a 12 inch Italian sub, double meat, with almost everything on it and I would also have a bag of sea salt potato chips. I was always in good shape with some muscle mass but I never had a six pack back then. Now I know why. I eat Burger King and junk food now and I have a six pack. Having a low body fat percentage Is all about caloric restriction, keeping your daily intake below your basal metabolic rate. A fucking salad with dressing on has more calories than a double cheeseburger sandwich.
