    I think he's a 4.5 to 6-1 dog. So he's got a pulse as an 8-1 dog, but I wouldn't expect much.

Can't see Siver even really making this competitive.

I didn't see this coming either..

I don't even see this as a huge mismatch. I'm picking McGregor to win like most people but I wouldn't be shocked if this was a competitive fight.

Honestly I'm not uber-rich, it's just that... in 12 years of MMA it's the craziest odds I have ever seen (8-1 between a top 10 and a top 15??).
If Siver loses, I lose 65 bucks, but if he wins I'm gonna kick myself in the butt for not having made that bet in the first place...

I'm not a Connor hater (he could very well be the real deal) but he is still relatively unproven, has lost in the past, and Siver is a legit top 15 guy.
The massive hype is the reason these odds are so crazy.

Think about about it this way. Try to think of a past fight between 2 guys so close in ranking with such an absurd gap between the line (-1200; +775). It must be some kind of record, or am I forgetting some fights?
It means that Connor has less than 8% of losing according to the bookies.

Do I think Connor will win? I think he most likely will, but these odds are just too crazy not to bet something on Dennis.

Hopefully my position is a bit more clear

(Plus, I briefly met Siver at UFC 99 (in Germany, he subbed Dale Hartt), and he was a gentleman :icon_chee All smiles and stuff, and it was before his fight. Made a great impression on me.)

This is because you haven't yet realised the level Conor is at. Siver is no joke but Conor is on another [Million] levels.

He will dispose of him like a can not because Siver is one, but because he is that good.

On current odds if they fought 14 times and you bet on conor each time you would lose money if conor only won 13 times.

Massive favourite (like all conors ufc fights thus far ) but not shouldn't be out that far.

Siver is a very live underdog and a very serious threat to McGregor. I still pick Conor based on his speed, but reading the posts on Sherdog, you would think that Siver would be fighting blindfolded or with his hands behind his back.

I have $30 on Conor, i will not notice 30 less but will notice 255 if he wins.

No one in an mma fight should have odds like that. Injuries random fluked strikes bad weight cuts self kos happen plus siver aint bad himself.

No one man is good enough to justify this. Team sports sure but when a fight can end at any second with one slight misstep siver is value.

everyone has a chance in MMA, but the underdog has less of a chance to pull an upset in lower weight classes and much higher chance in bigger weight classes, imo

He has a chance, but its a very small one.

But the thing is, Conor has a lot to prove. He pretty much has to absolutely dominate Siver, if he ends up dropping a round to Siver or even just ends up getting caught a few times his stock is gonna drop.

Siver is a live dog for sure and if you like to have a flutter down the bookies then this is a great opportunity to make some extra coin

I do expect Conor to win, I am supporting him in fact. However I dont agree with the odds for Siver, so I have a few bucks lying about to probably lose on him. Upsets like this do happen from time to time.

Live dog, he could win this if Conor gets careless or too cocky.

If you're gonna bet on siver then make it via conor breaking his leg or something cuz that's the only way he's gonna win.

Some sites have it -1500 Mcgregor +900 Siver. Don't think Siver wins but those odds is a little silly.
