Is Shevchenko the reason JJ isn't moving to 125?

I remember Joana used to talk about moving up to 125 and becoming 2 division champ. She was confident in that decision.

Joana has fought Shevchenko before in Muy Thai and lost to her. If I'm remembering correctly she lost to Shevchenko 3 times, and never won.

Now that Shevchenko has gone to 125, does this make JJ reluctant to move up in weight? Is this why she chose to stay at 115 for now?

Joana complains about how she lost her belt because of the weight cut, so why not move up?

She won't fight Shevchenko again, too embarrassing for her. She'd tap on the contract

Didn't Joanna already try to fight Shev on short notice?

Rose interrupted any plans Joanna had either way

If she goes to 125lbs #MyGirl Valentina will give her the absolute worst spanking of her life. She will beat Joannas ass so bad my dude.

Some idiots used to argue that Joanna would beat Valentina. Some may still try make a case. For that reason alone I want this fight to happen so bad. The Boogey Woman would be a great name on her resume.

Uh..lets see how she fairs in rematch, first for belt.
I mean -,duh?

Yo she did just lose her belt in brutal fashion.

Common sense says she's focusing on trying to avenge that one.

I would say Rose is pretty obviously her reason for not moving up to 125 at the moment.

Very true, she just never even mentions or talks about moving up anymore, even though she used to all the time.

That was posturing, she knew the fight wouldn't happen. Joanna is afraid of Valentina, she got asked about her once at a fan conference and started kissing #MyGirls ass. Joanna is a nasty little critter to those below her, but anyone above her and she plays a good little submissive girl. She wouldn't try trash talking her like she did to Rose or Claudia, she has also said she doesn't feel like she needs to fight her to prove anything and that they're friends who respect each other. Joanna knows her place.

Rose ruined her plans. She probably had visions in her head of breaking Ronda's record and then moving up for a second world title like Conor.

I think she once said that Ronda and Conor are her favorite fighters which explains a lot LOL.

I think the whole deal with that was she offered to fight Shevchenko, knowing there was no way the commission would allow it, so she could have that claim.

She tried to fight Valentina on short notice when her opponent fell through so I doubt it.

If you read what you're replying to you will get the answer to this tweet as well.

More like Valentina beat Joanna into respecting her. I bet that if Joanna was 3-0 against Valentina she would be pushing for that fight and talking trash.

Well, this was her first (reported) mard Weight cut, so IMO premature to talk about moving up.

but if she loses a rematch though... this could be an option..

because shes not the champion of 115 anymore, shes focused on getting the belt back. when she was such a dominate champion the talks of moving up made sense.

I dont know if its the reason but it would be a bad matchup for her. Joannas standup is great and her TDD is strong but Valentina is just as good on the feet if not better and she evolved, she aquired a great ground game while Joanna remained one dimensional plus she beat her 3 times in MT, if this fight happens i will bet my house.

Everybody knows that was BS, she knew there was no way for that to happen so that statement doesn't mean anything

She had a different team for this weight cut, hadn't had problems before.

She's got to try and get her belt back and avenge the Rose loss for her legacy.
