Trump repeatedly mistook photos of Carroll for his ex wife maples. I’m sure he really thought she was a plain Jane.

And waiting 30 years. Have you seen surviving Ohio state? Why would big tough wrestlers wait over 30 years to say something? Surely they must have felt they would be believed? Big tough dudes like mark coleman let some scrawny doctor sexually assault them? Do you think they are making it up?

No I haven't seen Ohio state. While I think rape accusations need to be taken seriously, the unfortunate problem of false rape hoaxes means my expectations for evidence is higher than just hearsay. No doubt there are legit cases where someone came forth with an allegation that was absolutely true despite the lack of evidence.

Have you seen the multitude of cases where men, some college aged, were convicted and sentenced to prison for a rape they didn't commit? Based on hearsay? Some spent years and lot the best years of their life. College athletes who had their futures ruined.

Yep. I’ve seen those. Equating those situations to these allegations thatgo back to the 80s. His own wife made complaints. The allegations are similar and he even said he walked in on pageant contestants and said he was the owner, so it was okay. But sure, compare the list of numerous allegations to the guys who have been falsely accused isn’t doing anyone any justice. It’s gross.

So you're using Trump's history to make your judgement on this case? Does that extend to Carroll too? Because there's plenty there to show she's an absolute wacko who has made multiple rape accusations against people with zero evidence.
 
This lawsuit is the biggest lawfare horseshit ever.

Literally zero evidence. And Trump was only ordered to pay 5 million initially. When he called this chick crazy in the media, he was charged with defamation and ordered to pay 85 million. Completely ridiculous by the judge.
 
I saw a headline that a judge denied trump trying to use DOJ to fight this. Amazing. What a fucking clown world to live in.
