If its the same video im thinking of, Seagal was also telling silva "down more" and they were aiming about knee/waist height then on fight night, Silva front kicks vitors head and Seagal was in the crowd like "yeah i meant to say UP MORE"

I get your point... but I don't think he was talking about the target, so much as the trajectory of the forward momentum of the foot. In other words, he was telling Anderson to drive the foot forward/down with the hip and knee, like a leg press, rather than snapping it upward with the knee, like a leg extension.
