I always like it when someone is known by one single name and everyone knows who they're talking about, like:

"Prince"
"Beyonce"
"Bowie"
"Morrissey"

Anthony Johnson is a very generic and forgettable name, but "Rumble" just sticks and describes his fighting style perfectly. "Rampage" is also a great nickname for the same reasons. I mean, what even is Rampage's first name anyway? dude has only went by Rampage Jackson since forever <Grimes01>

Hendo. There will only be one Hendo.

The measuring stick for a great nickname, is if it becomes another word with a dual definition, like a noun or a verb.
You got hit by a Hendo.
You got Hendo'd.
Yep. That qualifies.

so true, personally my favorite mma nickname today is "no mercy"
