Is Rory just a lot less durable than Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit?

Rory has had to pull out of how many fights now due to injury? 5? 6 times?

Nick has never pulled out of a fight, and to my knowledge neither has Carlos.

But Rory pulls out like his... he pulls out a lot.

Is he just a lot less durable than the other two and gets hurt a lot or what?

What is the explanation for this?

rory is a finely tuned machine, requires alot of upkeep...needs high quality fuel and you get top of the line output

nick is like a toyota corola...you can feed it garbage, weed, etc...reliable, long lasting, but cant compare head to head to rory's ferrarri

I think so, both Nick and Carlos are more 'wirey' hard to finish, cardio machines with good flexibility.

Rory is more of an athletic, explosive type carrying a fair amount of muscle for his frame which obviously has pros and cons.

Rory is a diva, that's for sure. More relevantly, he is a careerist. He wants to be known as the best. The slightest disadvantage will result in him pulling out of a fight. He has the GSP mentality, not the Diaz mentality.

The cheap car keeps breaking down.

The expensive car never breaks down.

Is that what youre saying?

Five times he had to pull out, he's still only 23 with 6 fights in the UFC. Not many fighters on the current roster can say they've fought that many fights at 23 years old.

It is a little worrysome though to see the amount of injuries he's had thus far, hopefully that trend doesn't continue.

rory come across like the type who goes in hard in training all the time, hence why he keep hurting himself so much

Nick has an organic diet while Rory is littered in pimples.

Condit pulled out of UFC 127 against Lylte and was replaced by Ebersole.

I remember because I went to that event, but I can't think of any other times Condit or Diaz had to withdraw due to injury.

and a reason why rory has 1 loss that if ref waited 5 seconds wouldn't exist compared to diaz's 8 losses

Corolas run on weed and garbage?

Your favourite fighter is awesome.

One time was a cut. A accident. Nothing to do with durable or injury prone. But feel free to conjecture, Diaz fans. I love reading your guys' stuff.

5 injuries and 6 fights.

WOW.

An 83% injury rate.

This kid is not durable.
