Sorry if this has been brought up but I searched around both here and then web and cant get an answer. Does any one know? Thanks!

It's higher than chartreuse rice but lower than magenta rice.

What about compared to brown?

To be honest I've never even heard of purple rice.

Looking it up on google shows a lot of recipes for desserts, so I'm thinking high glucose volume = high GI.

Thanks man. I also had the same results when googling. I had the same feeling as well.

Are you talking about purple rice that is served in Korean restaurants? If you are, I think it's normal white sticky rice that that takes on the color of the purple beans they are cooked with
