Even if he loses he is still a big time contender.
I'd like for JDS to win though.
JDS is one of the more sympathetic personalities in the HW division and the UFC in general. He's also a guy that usually finishes fights in spectacular fashion.
With his skillset and work-ethic, he'll stay in top competition a long time.
im gonna say JDS wins this fight b/c he has too. just like Cain "had" to win the second fight, i feel like JDS is gonna be the best we've ever seen him and take the belt back to Brasil .
I really don't know what to think of this fight. Just know that neither of these guys are going anywhere no matter how the fight turns out.
If he establishes a jab, he has a great chance of winning. He's gotta do something to break Cain's will in case he doesn't land the overhand a minute in.
look at the rest of the HW division.. its either gonna be jds or cain right now.. there is no one else who can beat these guys except for each other
No way imo. He is too good and will be @ the top of the food chain for a long while.
I'm not talking about if JDS loses and its over for him. Cain said "he beat me once and thats all he is getting." and JDS responded with "Hes gona lose, its over for him."
listening to jds lately i think its gonna be like their 2nd fight. jds lookin for that overhand right while cain mauls him for five rounds.
There will be a fourth fight.
I dont see either guy falling off win or lose anytime soon. They are both well... the best talent in HW that the UFC has.
cain has the wrestling, pressure, and cardio, junior has the power and all around better striking game
Same here brotha preach
I think so too.
I have no idea what's going to happen when these two get in there again. All I know is it's going to be awesome to be there to witness it.
If JDS loses to Cain but then beats 3 top 10 guys, what then? If he keeps winning won't he eventually sort of have to be given another shot, even if he lost twice to Cain already? Of course, Cain could lose in the meantime, but if he's still champ and JDS keeps beating top guys (which he likely will), this becomes kind of a weird situation for the UFC. They can only hope that new contenders arrive soon.
I fully expect that this will not be the last fight between these two. I think they will both go on to defeat everyone else and will lock horns again.
If JDS loses again, I can't see him getting another shot for at least 2-3 years. Cain fights twice a year so my guess would be, he fights Werdum, Barnett, Browne, Reem if he can get two wins in a row, and Stipe.
