Is Nate taking this fight as seriously as Conor?

You made the thread but I'm the fool? lol

How do you quantify if Nate is taking the fight "as seriously" as McGregor? Your metric is "McGregor makes social media posts herp derp" Truth is you have no idea what Nate is doing in prep for the rematch. His boxing wasn't a problem in the 1st fight. And like you said, he has been training with Shilling which makes sense when you consider Conor is most likely going to employ a kick-box heavy game plan.

But oh no's! Nate didn't tweet about it like Conor so he must not be taking the rematch seriously!

But he is tweeting his camp. That's how I know he hasn't brought in boxers like Conor has. That's how I know he's trained with Joe schilling. But considering the magnitude of this fight and the first round. I would think he would do everything that he possibly could to prepare for the fight.

Nate can prepare all he wants, I think it'll come down to how efficient Conor is with his energy

The Diaz' do what they do. I thought everybody knew that. They are always in shape. And unless they're drinking tekillya in Mexico, they're always training.

They are ready to fight all the time. They've only been doing it for more than a decade. People don't know this already ??? 10 day tequila Cabo Nate knows what he's doing.

"Always in shape" I'll give you that one but "they are ready to fight all the time"?? No, just, no.

Willing to fight all the time, yes, but we have heard over and over again from the Cult of Diaz members after a Nate or Nick loss that they lost only cause they "wern't into it" "unmotivated" "showed up for a check"

So slow down on the whole "they are always ready to fight bullshit.

I have Nate winning the rematch cause he's better than a much shorter extremely one dimensional overrated hype job, but he is faaaaaaaaaaaar from being this "warrior monk" or true "street warrior" type fighter that his Cult members build him up to be.

Him and his bro are only about money and taking fights that will get them paid regardless if they win or lose. They know if they lose they will have an army, no, a vast Cult like fanbase that will make every single excuse under the sun as to how they actually "really won" or to regurgitate every excuse either Diaz spews after they lose a fight.

Thing is you don't need to fly in folks when you've built friendships and business relationships over the years . Nate is surrounded by high level fighters from all aspects of combat sports . Im pretty sure Connor doesn't have access to a single fighter of the level Nate does . It's the difference between a guy who is relatively humble and respected vs a try hard who has burned and rubbed people the wrong way ever since he got some marketing dollars from Dana

If Nate is smart, or being adviced by smart people, he knows that he ain't getting a third shot at McGregor if he loses the rematch. Basically the first fight will be written off as a fluke by the marketing machine and that would be it.

So, in order to get another big fight after Conor 2 (=another fat paycheck) the only way is to come on top victorious at UFC 202.

If Nate loses, the third fight could easily happen at some point.
