I think Nate definitely has the better ground game, but his boxing is top notch too. He gets hit more but he also has the more dangerous boxing. Nick has better defense and that's it, but he also doesn't damage as much

They are both gods to me. Did great things for the sport and have a unique fighting style that no one can copy no matter how much they try.

Nate's a good solid lightweight, but Nick is better everywhere at WW.

If Nick wasn't suspended he would beat the shit out of Robbie, so no.

Said Nick yesterday, but this sure makes it close. This is a bigger win than Nick has.

My gut still says Nick is better at the end of the day, but it's real close now.

Nate is very good, but I think Nick is better at mixing it up a bit. Nick is a bit better IMO, and can also take a bit more of a punch.

Both are fucking beasts though.

Nick is pissing away his prime, so who knows

Nick is better, has better boxing, mix much better with body punches and his pressure against the cage is unstoppable

Nate its still great tho, has more submission winning so he is probably better in the ground but thats difficult to really know

Nick is slower, has less output but has way better defense imo. Probably has more power too. When I look at Nick Diaz, I don't see anything special on the feet but somehow he never seems to get hurt and backs people up...crazy.

Nate himself says that Nick is the best fighter, in interviews.

Nick puts his punches together better, in terms of body / head, and variety of shots.

On the ground they are fairly even, although Nate has more actual fight wins via sub.

nick is better on the ground too.
he's just a better fighter

Nick is better at everything.

Nick has far better wins over far better competition. This is just a more high profile, high visibility win than Nick has. Beating Conor was nowhere near as impressive as Nick go-go'ing Gomi. Actually, Nate has far better wins before this. What he did to Cerrone and Miller alone is way more impressive. This win just seems bigger because all eyes were on Conor. In actuality Conor is a 1 dimensional fighter with zero ground game, who was given favorable matchups and fighting guys that were much smaller than him.
