I really don't care if it's the greatest or not since that is also subjective.

But I really enjoy watching his highlights. He has been criticized a lot over the years for dull fights and hesitation to engage.

But he has produced some of the most beatiful finishes in combat sports history all while being a classy and respectful martial artist.

His glory days are past him but I will always admire what he has done in the sport.

Machida has some great KO's, but Anderson Silva has the most great finishes in MMA history for me. He has KO'd guys from every position with every tool he has. I would have to put Cro cop in the equation also, but they are all great fighters that I have enjoyed watching over the years.

I admit i did fall for the Rogan "Welome to the Machida era" when he used modern karate to give us Shad face.
At the time it was pretty mind blowing.

Kicking Vitors face off just made me a fan of him again.

I’ve always had a massive throbbing fandom of Machida but have been unable to watch his fights live due to the emotional impact of watching him get ktfod by brutes. So I stopped watching live and he’s won 2 ina row FML. His HL reel is pretty epic but idk if I’d call it he best
