I've mostly stayed out of the Joe Rogan height threads but I could not help but notice all these other fighters who are short as well. When you stand next to someone who is 5"3', it does not look good if you're a bit taller. You need to be significantly taller than him.

People think flyweights are manlets and they are but even welterweights and up are too. This would explain all the tough guy posturing and douchebaggery by many fighters. Such obvious compensation.

Manletitis is reflected in parts of the fanbase as well.

Many hate on Ariel but check this out.

    Taller than a light heavyweight.

    Taller than Conor

    Taller than the goof

Here's another tall guy that gets hate

Of course let's not forget the one that makes the insecurities of many manlet sherdoggers rise to the surface

It blows my mind to think that MMA is not just a sport where manlets can participate (lower weight classes) but its mostly manlet participants.

This would explain the hatred toward WMMA. Some fans don't need this reminder (Let's be clear. Cyborg is very average height wise)

Who does Sherdog think would win in a fight between Luke Thomas and Hans Molenkamp?

Conor is 5’7” Khabib is barely 5’8” and Dana is 5’7” I’ve seen all of them in person. People need to accept this.

Saw Conor when he fought Siver in 2015 at the open workouts was right next to him. Saw Khabib and met Dana at open workouts in 2018 for Francis vs Stipe. I’m a 5’7” manlet and Dana Conor and Khabib are all the same height as me. Also Ali is 5’7” as well.

Nah I don't think height has to do with anything. Most people in the world is under 6 ft. People act the same regardless of height from what I notice. You are focusing on fighters, fighters in general have a different mentality. They are all pretty similar with certain things because they are fighters. Doesn't matter what weight class, the tough guy thing you speak of is there in all of them.

Plus Napolean is average height, the idea of him being super short was just used to try and discredit him early on so his short height was exaggerated. Seems like he achieved more than people taller than him though, so Naploean Complex isn't really a bad thing if you are really analyzing it.

These current threads on height on sherdog just screams insecurity from taller people worried about shorter people having more success than them. Height doesn't really matter like the way you guys think it does. Success does, in whatever endeavor that might be.

there is so much obsession with soomeone's height on sherdog. is that a Millennial thing these days? I bet the TS has done a plastic Op to extend his own height b/c high heels won't help much.

I know the pain and sadness of being a manlet all too well. I am 5'8", but the guys I hang out with are over 6 feet and I can tell you that ladies don't even know I exist when I am with them. The ladies are too busy staring up at the taller guys to notice me.

I have noticed lately that the younger generation, males and females, are all super tall. It seems like I am shorter than everyone among the younger generation.

I wouldn't be surprised if Luke Thomas was still wearing lifts or 3 inch heel dress shoes in every pic above. Just seems like that kind of guy.

Jesus bro chill out. The younger generation definitely isn't significantly taller either, definitely your perception of the world unless you're trolling.

Worst case go move to El salvador you will be the tallest guy in the country.

It's just guys under 5'9 that have "LMS" in the U.S since that's the average height of males here. I'm 5'11 barefoot and have never remotely cared about not being a legit 6ft or taller.

Trust me, the younger generation are taller. You are probably just taller than me and don't notice it as much.
