Is Lenny Kravitz the greatest Jewish rockstar?

I think he goes unrivalled by any other Jewish rockstar, and he can hold his own against a bunch of misc ethnicities.

First, Lenny's mother was not Jewish. According to Jewish law, a person is only Jewish if their mother is Jewish, or if they converted to Judaism. Not all Jews agree on this, however, but I personally would not include Lenny Kravitz on the list of Jewish rockers because he's not a pure Jew, ethnically - so I'd call him half-Jewish - and because he doesn't identify himself as Jewish in the religious sense. He's a great musical talent though, although - sorry - I think his lyrics are really lame.

My favourite Jewish rocker is Geddy Lee.
