This is getting out of hand, every other thread is about him last few days.

Well Khamzat is an exciting prospect so obviously Sherdog is excited. Conor is the one of the Goats which is why people make threads about him

His actions speak louder than his words. Conor's the other way around. So, no.

Conor never had 3 wins in 2 months. Conor never had elite grappling in addition to good striking.

The only thing they have in common is that they both got a lot of hype after a couple of fights. Otherwise, they're very different fighters with very different potentials

"The Champ Champ does what the fuck he wants" - To be fair that was louder than any action Doormzat has produced.

You mean like, say, Demian Maia? The guy he's already scheduled to fight next month?

Don't worry, we don't have to wait long

That's just biased. Can we be fucking objective on this site for just a minute?

McGregor was literally predicting his finishes and knocking people out back to back to back to back. He flat-lined Sherdog's Golden Sons Holloway and Porier, he flatlined the GOAT Jose Aldo in 12 seconds.

Khazmat just knocked out a journeyman. It was impressive and it won me a parlay, so I'm excited too. But let's not pretend McGregor sucked or never backed up his talk. He won two belts across two divisions legitimately while destroying Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez. Hazmat has finished two janitors and just beat someone several levels below Dennis Siver.

And this ^ is very favorable matchmaking. I'm not trying to defend McGregor here, it's not my goal. But Demaian Maia is so similar to Cerrone for McGregor, it's actually an easier fight for Khazmat.

Maia is about to turn 43 years old and was knocked dead in his last fight. The style favors Chimaev heavily, how is Maia going to take this to the ground? It's a kickboxing match if Khazmat wants it.

Exactly, yet you're degrading the accomplishments of a man who's walked the walk and has the gold to show for it, and getting a stiff one over a guy that is still completely unproven at this point.

I've said literally nothing to diminish Conor's achievements. If stating the fact that Conor never had so many fights in such a short time bothers you, that's really your problem, not mine.

Don't disparage Maia here. He's a legend of the game. He's getting old, sure. But he's still capable of choking out good grapplers, and Khamzat is a good grappler. Once it hits the mat, we really don't know who has the advantage because Maia can sweep and submit high level guys. Can he do it to Khamzat? That's the question.

That right hand was very on point for a fighter known for their ground game. I'm ready to get on the hype train.
