Is Khamzat another Conor?

Let me explain what I mean; it involves weight classes.

Conor showed true dominance at FW, beating the best convincingly. However, as I understand it, staying at FW was untenable- Conor is too big, and that had a lot to do with his dominance. Conor is 3-3 since leaving FW, and is clearly only a low-level contender at LW that is unlikely to ever beat a great grappler, or for that matter even the best strikers at LW (e.g. Dustin or Justin); the gatekeeper status is creeping up on him quickly.

Now compare that to Khamzat- he looks dominant at WW (like Conor did at his former weight class), but it does not appear feasible for him to stay at that weight because of his size (again, like Conor); the UFC has already indicated they want him to move up and stop missing weight.

Could the same thing happen to Khamzat when he moves up, meaning he can't handle these bigger fighters? After all, Costa and other MW's have called him out, but he responds only by ad hominem attacks on them, he never says "I want to fight that guy and shut him up."

Is Khamzat actually a lesser fighter than Conor? I mean, Conor at least proved he was the dominant fighter at FW, where we can't at all be certain that Khamzat can beat Leon, Colby, or Usman.

I'm just asking questions.

A bit. But Khamzat can be big enough at MW. Still harder then fighting Burns who is a former LW. I wonder if he will bother competing when he finds out he is just one of the top guys at MW and not a dominant force. I do not see him cleaning out MW. I think he's too stagnant in the stand up. He stood too long in front of Burns and I personally scored that fight for Burns.
Let's see what happens.
But Conor apsolutely drifted away with money and boxing and gaining weight. Khamzat is hungrier. But he might buy too much into his hype.

Also its WW not LW. And might be a awful cut to ww at this point for him.

i wonder why khamzat doesnt' fight anymore. we were looking at the dude fighting every 6-12 weeks. i guess he was on medical leave after burns.
he could have gone against in december after holland, but is waiting for march. he also seems to be asking for gift matchups now that he is at the top.

i hope he fights 3 times in 2023

The difference is- Conor never missed weight at FW, and also had a drive and hunger that Khamzat seems to lack at this stage. Conor fought anyone and everyone until he got that belt. Khamzat has just 3 fights at WW in 2.5 years in the UFC. He does a lot of talking in the media but he's not really fighting much at WW.

It wasn't until after Conor got his belts that he went off the rails and bought into his own hype. But he had a plan of getting the FW belt followed by LW belt, and he stayed focused on it and stuck to it until he achieved it. Whereas it seems like Khamzat is already a bit off the rails, he's all over the place and who knows when or which weight class he'll fight in next.

Khamzat lost to lw burns motivated conor is unbeatable

That's a nice point- buying the hype happened later for Conor, not during his early run.

Conor would need to fight to attain gatekeeper status

Know that TS' OP is just a superficial incosistent comparison in order to hate on Khamzat? Yes, I do.
I was just asking questions, don't go all hidden conspiracy on me, or I will think this is you:

It's not a hidden conspiracy, it's just a standard pattern on SD.
